Radio Replacement
Removal Procedure
Important: Perform the radio set up procedure for new radios. Refer to Programming and Relearning for programming and setup information. Programming and Relearning
1. Remove the HVAC control assembly.
2. Remove the drivers information center switch bank.
3. Remove the radio screws.
4. Pull the radio toward you.
5. Disconnect the instrument panel (I/P) wiring harness connectors and the antenna cable connector from the radio.
6. Remove the radio.
Installation Procedure
1. Position the radio to the I/P.
2. Connect the I/P wiring harness connectors and the antenna cable connector to the radio.
Important: If the radio locator is difficult to align to the I/P locator opening, pull the radio toward you and reposition the antenna cable.
3. Install the radio to the I/P.
Align the radio locator to the hole in the I/P while pressing the radio into position.
Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
4. Install the radio screws.
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
5. Install the drivers information center switch bank.
6. Install the HVAC control assembly.
7. Perform the radio set up procedure for new radios. Refer to Programming and Relearning for programming and setup information. Programming and Relearning
