Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Rear
SEAT BELT RETRACTOR REPLACEMENT - REARREMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the rear seat cushion and rear seat back.
2. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel.
3. If removing either side retractor, remove the rear quarter lower trim panel.
4. If removing either side retractor, remove the retractor anchor bolt from the floorpan.
5. Remove the rear window trim panel, as required.
6. Remove the rear sound barrier, as required.
7. Remove the rear seat belt retractor bolt.
8. Remove the rear seat belt retractor from the vehicle.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the rear seat belt retractor to the vehicle.
NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to seat the alignment tabs.
2. Install the rear seat belt retractor bolt.
Tighten
Tighten the rear seat belt retractor bolt to 68 N.m (50 lb ft).
3. Install the rear sound barrier.
4. Install the rear window trim panel.
5. Install the rear seat belt retractor anchor bolt to the floorpan.
Tighten
Tighten the rear seat belt retractor bolt to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).
6. Install the rear quarter lower trim panel.
7. Install the rear quarter upper trim panel.
8. Install the rear seat cushion and rear seat back.
