Seat Belt Buckle Replacement - Right Front

SEAT BELT BUCKLE REPLACEMENT - RIGHT FRONT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. To access the seat belt buckle nut do the following:
- For bucket seats, position the seat in the forward position.
- For split bench seats, remove the adjuster to floor pan bolts and tip the seat forward.
2. Remove the nut from the seat belt buckle.
3. Remove the seat belt buckle from the right front seat.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the seat belt buckle to the right front seat.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the seat belt buckle nut.

Tighten
Tighten the seat belt buckle nut to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

3. If split bench, install the adjuster to floor pan bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 42 N.m (31 lb ft).

4. Position the right front seat to the original position.
