Window Replacement - Rear Door Stationary

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
3. Remove the inner window belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Service and Repair) .
4. Remove the outer window belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
5. Remove the front window channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Rear Door Front (Service and Repair) .
6. Remove the window (1). Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
7. Remove the window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window (Service and Repair) .




8. Remove the upper fastener (2) from the door header.
9. Remove the access hole plug (3).
10. Remove the lower inboard fastener (2).




11. Grasp the window division channel (1).
12. Pull the window forward in order to remove.



Installation Procedure





1. Slide the window (1) back into the door frame.
2. Loosely install the lower fastener.
3. Rotate the window rearward in order to engage the clips (2).





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

4. Install the upper fastener in the header.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Install the access hole plug (3).
6. Install the window weatherstrip. Refer to Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door Window (Service and Repair) .
7. Install the window. Refer to Window Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
8. Install the window run channel. Refer to Window Channel Replacement - Rear Door Front (Service and Repair) .
9. Install the window inner belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Inner (Service and Repair) .
10. Install the window outer belt molding. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Rear Door Window Belt Outer (Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement) .
11. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Rear Door (Service and Repair) .
12. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door Service and Repair
