Seat Cushion Heater Element Replacement - Front

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the seat cushion cover. Refer toSeat Cushion Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Replacement - Front) .
2. Remove the seat heater element (7) from the seat.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the seat heat element.

1. Carefully position and press the heat element (7) onto the seat cushion pad (8).
2. Remove the paper from the tape that is located on the back of the heat element.
3. Tuck the narrow connecting strips into the seat cushion pad trenches.





2. Insert the seat heat element harness (9) through a hole located in the right rear corner of the seat cushion pad (10).




3. Connect the seat heat element BLACK electrical connector to the Heat Module BLACK electrical connector.
4. Cut off all of the old heat element harness (11) from the seat cushion trim cover.
Important: Ensure the heat element is laying flat with no wrinkles on the seat cushion pad.



5. Install the seat cushion cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Replacement - Front) .
6. Ensure the seat heat function is operational.
