Power Recliner Motor Replacement - Front Seat

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
2. Remove the seat cushion and the cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Replacement - Front) .
3. Remove the 2 rivets.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.




5. Release the cable (1) by compressing the outer ring on the drive cable connectors.
6. Disconnect the motor position sensor connector.
7. Remove the motor (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Install the cable (1).
2. Connect the electrical connector.
3. Install the 2 new rivets.
4. Install the seat cushion and the cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Front (Seat Cushion Replacement - Front) .
5. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
