Actuator Replacement - Front and Rear Vertical

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer toSIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.
1. Remove the front seat. Refer toSeat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
2. On a clean dry surface, lay the seat on its side.




3. Remove the bolts (6,7).
4. Slide the actuators (5) off of the adjuster assembly (2).



Installation Procedure





1. Slide the actuators (5) on to the adjuster assembly (2).

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the actuator bolts (6,7).

Tighten the actuator bolts (6,7) to 17 N.m (13 lb ft).

3. Install the front seat. Refer toSeat Replacement (Seat Replacement) .
4. If the vehicle is equipped with memory seats, calibrate the seat. Refer to Memory Seat Calibration Procedure.
