Window Channel Replacement - Rear Door Front

Removal Procedure

1. Raise the window to the full closed position.
2. Remove the door trim panel.
3. Remove the door module.
4. Remove the water deflector.




5. Loosen the lower fastener (3).
6. Remove the upper fastener (1), which is also the door applique lower fastener.
7. Slide the window channel assembly down far enough so that the upper bracket clears the door applique.
8. Remove the front window channel (1) from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the front window channel (1) into the door, top end first.
2. Insert the lower fastener into the keyhole slot.
3. Rotate the top of the front window channel rearward and align on the lower edge of the window.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

4. Install the upper fastener.

Tighten the upper fastener to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the lower fastener.

Tighten the front window channel lower fastener to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

6. Install the water deflector.
7. Install the door module.
8. Install the door trim panel.
