Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators: Adjustments

STRIKER ADJUSTMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) COMPARTMENT

ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) cluster trim plate.
2. Open the compartment door.




3. Loosen the screws holding the compartment striker to the I/P.
4. Adjust the striker for proper alignment to the I/P compartment.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

5. Install the I/P cluster trim plate.
