Weatherstrip Replacement - Rear Door

Tools Required

J 38778 Door Trim Pad Clip Remover


Removal Procedure

1. Open the rear door.




2. Remove the lower half of the rear door weatherstrip and retainers using J 38778 .
3. Remove the upper half of the rear door weatherstrip pulling the weatherstrip from the track.
4. Remove the rear door weatherstrip from the rear door.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the rear door weatherstrip on the rear door.
2. Install the upper half of the rear door weatherstrip pushing the weatherstrip into the track.
3. Install the lower half of the rear door weatherstrip, pressing in on the retainers until each retainer is fully seated.
4. Close the rear door.
