Coolant Recovery Reservoir Replacement

Removal Procedure

^ Tools Required
- J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers





1. Drain the coolant.
2. Disconnect the coolant hose from the recovery reservoir using the J 38185.





3. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir nuts and bolt.
4. Remove the recovery reservoir from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the coolant reservoir.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the mounting nuts and bolt.
^ Tighten the fasteners to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs.).





3. Install the coolant hose to the reservoir using the J 38185.
4. Refill the cooling system.
