Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement - Right Upper (L67)

Removal Procedure

Caution Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.





1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the fuel injector sight shield.
3. Remove the ignition coil(s).
4. Remove the supercharger drive belt.





5. Remove the upper supercharger drive belt idler pulley bolt and the drive belt pulley.





6. Remove the supercharger drive belt tensioner nut.
7. Remove the supercharger drive belt tensioner.





8. Remove the right engine mount strut from the right engine mount strut bracket.





9. Remove the right engine mount strut bracket nuts and stud.
10. Remove the right engine mount strut bracket from the cylinder head.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the right engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.





2. Install the electronic ignition control module harness assembly to the stud.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the right engine mount strut bracket studs and nuts.
- Tighten the right engine mount strut bracket studs and nuts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





4. Install the right engine mount strut to the right engine mount strut bracket.





5. Install the supercharger drive belt tensioner.
6. Install the supercharger drive belt tensioner nut.
- Tighten the supercharger drive belt tensioner nut to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





7. Install the upper supercharger drive belt idler pulley.
8. Install the supercharger drive belt idler pulley bolt.
- Tighten the supercharger drive belt idler pulley bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
9. Install the supercharger drive belt.





10. Install the ignition coil(s).
11. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
12. Connect the negative battery cable.
