Glove Compartment Lock: Adjustments

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
2. Open the instrument panel compartment door.
3. Loosen the screws holding the instrument panel compartment striker to the IP.
4. Adjust the instrument panel compartment striker for proper alignment of the instrument panel compartment.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Tighten the screws holding the instrument panel compartment striker.

Tighten
Tighten the instrument panel compartment striker screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

2. Install the instrument panel cluster trim plate.
