EVAP Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Engine

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield.




2. Remove the hardware retaining the EVAP pipes, if applicable.
3. Inspect the location of the attaching hardware for installation.
4. Remove the EVAP pipe/hoses.
5. Inspect the pipe/hoses for bends, kinks, and cracks.
6. Replace the pipes/hoses as required.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTE: Refer to Properly Secured Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Pipe Notice in Service Precautions.




1. Install the EVAP pipe/hoses.
2. Install the hardware retaining the EVAP pipe/hoses.




3. Install the fuel injector sight shield.
