Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Wiring Harness Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Inflator Module Handling And Storage Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disable the SIR system.

IMPORTANT: With the seat zipper (3) in the open position the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module wiring harness (4) will be exposed.

2. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module (2) from seat (1).
3. Remove the retaining clips that fastens side inflator module wiring harness (4) to the seat (1).

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install new side inflator module wiring harness (4) to the seat (1).
2. Install retaining clips that fastens side inflator module wiring harness (4) to the seat (1).
3. Install the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module (2) to the seat (1).
4. Enable the SIR system.
