Pulley Removal and Installation

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

- Tools Required
- J 25034-C Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover
- J 37609 Screw
- J 25033-C Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer or
- J 37609-A Power Steering Pump Pulley Remover
- J 36015 Power Steering Pump Pulley Installer





1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
2. Remove the power steering pump.
3. Use the J 25034-C with the J 37609 or the J 37609-A in order to remove the power steering pump pulley.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

IMPORTANT:
- The face of the pulley hub must be flush with the end of the pump driveshaft.
- Do not use the arbor press to install the pulley.





1. Use the J 25033-C or the J 36015 in order to install the power steering pump pulley.
2. Install the power steering pump to the engine.
3. Install the accessory drive belt.
4. Fill the power steering system.
5. Bleed the power steering system.
6. Inspect the power steering system for leaks.
