Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement (Right)

Removal Procedure





1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Service Precautions.
2. Remove the ignition coil. Refer to Ignition Coil(s) Replacement in Powertrain Management.
3. Remove the supercharger drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (L67 (VIN 1)).





4. Remove the upper supercharger drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement (Upper).





5. Remove the supercharger drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (L67 (VIN 1)).





6. Remove the right engine mount strut at the right engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Right).





7. Remove the right engine mount strut bracket nuts and stud.
8. Remove the right engine mount strut bracket from the cylinder head.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the right engine mount strut bracket to the cylinder head.





2. Install the electronic ignition module harness assembly to the stud, as shown.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

3. Install the right engine mount strut bracket nuts and stud.
Tighten the right engine mount strut bracket nuts and stud to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





4. Install the right engine mount strut to the right engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Right).





5. Install the supercharger drive belt tensioner. Refer to Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement (L67 (VIN 1)).





6. Install the upper supercharger drive belt idler pulley. Refer to Drive Belt Idler Pulley Replacement (Upper).
7. Install the supercharger drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (L67 (VIN 1)).





8. Install the ignition coil. Refer to Ignition Coil(s) Replacement in Powertrain Management.
9. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Service Precautions.
