Engine Mount Strut Bracket Replacement (Left)

Removal Procedure





1. Drain the engine coolant from the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
2. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe for access. Refer to Exhaust Crossover Replacement.
3. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to ECT Sensor Replacement in Powertrain Management.
4. Remove the radiator support clamp from the engine mount strut bolt.
5. Remove the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Left).





6. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts.
7. Remove the engine mount strut bracket.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the engine mount strut bracket to the head.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the engine mount strut bracket bolts.
Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolts to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).





3. Install the engine mount strut to the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement (Left).
4. Install the radiator support clamp to the engine mount strut bolt.
5. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to ECT Sensor Replacement in Powertrain Management.
6. Install the exhaust crossover pipe. Refer to Exhaust Crossover Replacement.
7. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System in Cooling System.
