AT Range Selector Cable Replacement (AT PNP Switch)
Removal Procedure1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Powertrain Management.
2. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the wiring harness clip or strap.
3. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the automatic transaxle range selector lever.
4. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket.
5. Remove the automatic transaxle range selector cable from the console shift control or the column shift control. Refer to AT Range Selector Cable Replacement (AT Console Switch)
6. Pull the automatic transaxle range selector cable through the dash from the engine compartment side.
Installation Procedure
1. Insert the automatic transaxle range selector cable through the dash from the engine compartment side.
2. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable to the automatic transaxle range selector cable bracket.
3. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable to the automatic transaxle range selector lever.
4. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable to the wiring harness clip or strap.
5. Install the automatic transaxle range selector cable to the console shift control. Refer to AT Range Selector Cable Replacement (AT Console Switch).
6. Adjust the automatic transaxle range selector cable. Refer to AT Range Selector Cable Replacement (New Cable Installation).
7. Install the Air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement in Powertrain Management.
