Floor Shift Control Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the shift knob from the shifter.
2. Remove the console assembly. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.





3. Remove the park/lock cable from the floor shift control.





4. Remove the shift control cable from the floor shift control.





5. Remove the floor shift control bolts.





6. Remove the floor shift control.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the floor shift control.





2. Install the floor shift control bolts.





3. Install the shift control cable to the floor shift control.





4. Install the park/lock cable to the floor shift control.
5. Install the console assembly. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.





6. Install the shift knob to the shifter.
