Wiper Motor Cover Replacement

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable from battery.
2. Harness connector (19) from wiper motor cover assembly (20).
A. Pull retainer (K) out of harness connector (19).
B. Disconnect harness connector (19) from wiper motor cover assembly (20).
3. Three screws (21) and wiper motor cover assembly (20) from wiper motor assembly (22).

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings / Fastener Requirements. Service Precautions

IMPORTANT
^ Cam (L) must be in position shown and wiper motor assembly in park position so drive pin (M) will be in open area (N) of cam (L) during installation.
1. Wiper motor cover assembly (20) on wiper motor assembly (22) with three screws (21).
Tighten
^ Three screws to 2 N.m (18 lb. in.).
2. Harness connector (19) to wiper motor cover assembly (20).
3. Retainer (K) in harness connector (19).
4. Negative battery cable to battery.
