Outer Washer Solvent Container Assembly Replacement
Description:
Remove or Disconnect
1. Negative battery cable from battery.
2. Right-hand front inner fender from vehicle.
3. ransfer hose (3) from washer solvent container assembly (7).
A. lide clamp (8) down transfer hose (3) away from washer solvent container assembly (7).
B. Pull transfer hose (3) from washer solvent container assembly (7).
4. Washer solvent container assembly (7) from vehicle.
A. Cut two pieces of tape (A) where tape (A) crosses the harness (9) and hose (1). Pull tape (A) away from harness (9) and hose (1).
B. Remove two screws (10) and washer solvent container assembly (7) from vehicle.
C. Disconnect hose (1) from top of washer solvent container assembly (7).
D. Disconnect hose (11) from washer pump (12).
E. Disconnect harness connector (B) from washer pump (12).
F. Disconnect harness connector (C) from level sensor (13).
Install or Connect
1. Harness connector (C) to level sensor (13).
2. Harness connector (B) to washer pump (12).
3. Hose(11)to washer pump(12).
4. Hose (I) to top of washer solvent container assembly (~).
NOTICE: Refer to Vehicle Damage Warnings / Fastener Requirements. Service Precautions
5. Washer solvent container assembly (7) on vehicle.
A. sing electrical tape, tape hose (1) and harness (9) to washer solvent container assembly (7).
B.. nstall washer solvent container assembly (7) on vehicle with two screws (10).
Tighten
^ Two screws to 5 N.m (44 lb. in.).
6. Transfer hose (3) on washer solvent container assembly (7) with clamp (8).
7. Inner fender to vehicle.
8. Negative battery cable to battery.
