Inner Adjustment Link Replacement






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Raise vehicle.
2. Wheel and tire.
3. Loosen pinch bolt on outer adjustment link.
4. Using a block of wood at least 7 inches long, support exhaust and rear of support assembly.
5. Four exhaust hangers.
6. Two rear support assembly bolts and lower support assembly and exhaust together.
7. Cam bolt and nut and remove adjustment link from support assembly.
8. Remove inner adjustment link (4) from outer adjustment link (2) noting number of turns for assembly reference.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Inner adjustment link (4) to outer adjustment link (2) tightening the same number of turns as removal.
2. loner adjustment link to support assembly.
3. Cam bolt, washer and nut.
^ Tighten:
- Cam nut to 75 Nm (55 lb ft).
- Pinch bolt to 48 Nm (35 lb ft).
4. Raise support assembly and exhaust.
5. Two bolts securing support assembly to body of vehicle.
^ Tighten bolts to 165 Nm (122 lb ft).
6. Four exhaust hangers.
7. Fires and wheels.
^ Tighten wheel nuts to 140 Nm (100 lb ft).
8. Lower vehicle.
9. Check and set rear toe after installing adjustment link.
