Left

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.





2. Remove the two bolts attaching the left exhaust manifold to the crossover pipe.
3. Disconnect the spark plug wires from the spark plugs.
4. Remove the oil level indicator and the tube. Refer to Engine.





5. Remove the exhaust manifold studs and bolts.
6. Remove the exhaust manifold.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the exhaust manifold to the cylinder head.
2. Install the exhaust manifold studs and bolts.
^ Tighten the studs and bolts to 30 Nm (22 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the oil level indicator and the tube. Refer to Engine.
4. Install the two bolts attaching the left exhaust manifold to the exhaust crossover pipe.
^ Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
