Parking Brake Lever: Service and Repair

Park Brake Pedal Assembly:

Removing/Installing Parking Brake Lever Assembly:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Instrument Panel (I/P) sound insulator panel to access lever assembly.
2. Front Park brake cable from lever assembly.
3. Electrical connector from parking brake switch.
4. Screw, park brake switch.
5. Lever assembly attaching nuts and bolt.
6. Park brake lever assembly.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Park brake lever assembly.
2. Nuts and bolt. Tighten Nuts to 40 Nm (54 ft. lbs.).
3. Park brake switch, screw.
4. Electrical connector to parking brake switch.
5. Front parking brake cable to lever assembly.
6. I/P sound insulator panel.
