Bpmv Reservoir Replacement

Master Cylinder Reservoir Hose:






REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Air cleaner assembly.
2. Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) reservoir connector.
3. Clamp on reservoir hose to BPMV reservoir. Obtain a 15.5 mm (5/8 in.) plug to be used in Step 4.
4. Reservoir hose from BPMV reservoir and plug hose to prevent escape of brake fluid.
5. BPMV reservoir by carefully prying.
6. BPMV reservoir seals, note seal orientation.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. New seals to BPMV. Lubricate new seals with clean brake fluid when installing. Clean Reservoir and ports with denatured alcohol.
2. BPMV reservoir.
3. Reservoir hose to BPMV reservoir.
4. Clamp on reservoir hose to BPMV reservoir.
5. BPMV reservoir connector. Fill brake fluid reservoir. Bleed brake system. Clean Brake fluid from BPMV area to prevent damage to vehicle components.
