Canister Purge Solenoid: Service and Repair

Descriptive:

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the EVAP purge solenoid electrical connector (1).
2. Remove the vacuum hoses from the solenoid. Mark the vacuum hoses to ensure correct installation.
3. Bend the retaining tab on the solenoid mounting bracket.
4. Remove the solenoid.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Install the EVAP Purge Solenoid.
2. Reconnect the vacuum hoses. Make sure the connections are correct.
3. Reconnect the EVAP purge solenoid electrical connector.
