NOTE: For optimal Head-Up Display (HUD) performance, a HUD specific windshield must be used whenever the windshield is replaced.

If the vehicle is equipped with the UV6 option code, the vehicle has an instrument duster. HUD system consisting of a HUD specific windshield, the HUD, and the HUD dimmer switch. The HUD and HUD dimmer switch are both connected to the instrument panel wiring harness.

The HUD system projects frequently used driver information near the front of the vehicle as viewed from the driver's seat. During operation, information displayed by the HUD system will include:
^ Digital speedometer
^ Turn indicators
^ Check gages indicator
^ High beam indicator
^ Low fuel indicator
^ Radio station
^ Compact Disc (CD) track number
