Windshield Washer Reservoir: Service and Repair

Description:

Remove or Disconnect
1. Electrical connectors from washer pump (1) and solvent level sensor switch (2)
2. Washer hose (3) from washer pump (1).
3. Two nuts and washer solvent container (4).
- Washer solvent container has a tab which is in a slot in the vehicle body.
4. Washer pump (1) and grommet (5) from washer solvent container (4).
5. solvent level sensor switch (2) from washer solvent container (4).

Install or Connect

NOTICE: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Important
- Tab on solvent level sensor switch must be lined up with slot in hole.

1. Solvent level sensor switch (2) in washer solvent container (4).

Important
- Make sure new washer pump is pushed all the way into the container seal.
2. Grommet (5) and washer pump (1) in washer solvent container (4).
3. Washer solvent container (4) with two nuts (3).
Tighten
- Nuts to 8 N.m (70 lb. in.).
4. Electrical connectors to solvent level Sensor switch (2) and washer pump (1).
5. Washer hose (3) to washer pump (1).
6. Washer solvent in washer solvent container (4).
