Refrigerant Pressure Sensor / Switch: Service and Repair

A/C Pressure Sensor:

Important
- The A/C pressure sensor is mounted on a Schrader-type valve. It is not necessary to recover the refrigerant from the A/C system to replace this sensor.

Remove or Disconnect

1. Electrical connection from sensor.
2. Sensor and O-ring seal.

Install or Connect

1. Sensor and new O-ring seal.
- Lube O-ring with 525 refrigerant oil.

Tighten
- Sensor to 12 N.m (106 lb. in.).

2. Electrical connection to sensor.
