- Enabling the SIR System

Important:
1. Install grey 4-way connector to base of steering column.
2. Yellow 2-way SIR connector and CPA retainer at base of steering column.
3. "AIR BAG" fuse to I/P fuse block.
4. Steering column filler panel.

^ Turn ignition switch to "RUN" and verify that the "AIR BAG" warning lamp flashes 7 times and then turns "OFF". If it does not operate as described, perform the "SIR DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK."
