Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Suction Line/Condenser Connection:

Tool Required:
J 39500 Air Conditioning Refrigerant Recovery, Recycling and Recharging (ACR4) System

Remove or Disconnect

^ Recover refrigerant from A/C system.
1. Upper radiator panel.
2. Condenser to radiator screws.
3. Condenser inlet and outlet pipes.
4. Coolant overflow tube from radiator.
5. Slide radiator toward drivers side and remove condenser.

Install or Connect

1. Condenser into position by sliding radiator toward drivers side.
2. Coolant overflow tube to radiator.
3. Condenser to radiator screws.
4. Condenser inlet and outlet lines.

Tighten
^ Condenser connections to 24 N.m (18 lb. ft.).

5. Upper radiator panel and bolts.

^ Evacuate, charge and leak test A/C system.
