Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. I/P assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
2. Electrical connectors from switches.

Removal/Installation Of Pushrod To Brake Pedal:

3. Pushrod from pushrod pin.

Brake Pedal To Body Attachment:

4. Brake pedal nuts.

Removal/Installation Of Brake Pedal Assembly:

5. Brake pedal assembly.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Brake pedal assembly onto booster studs.
2. Brake pedal nuts.
3. Apply lubricant to pushrod pin.
4. Pushrod onto pushrod pin. Secure with spacer and retainer. Tighten pedal assembly to lower cowl stud nuts to 16 Nm (12 lb. ft.) and pedal assembly to booster stud nuts to 32 Nm (24 lb. ft.).
5. Electrical connectors to switches.
6. I/P assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators.
