Transmission Mount: Service and Repair

TRANSAXLE MOUNT












Remove or Disconnect
1. Raise vehicle and suitably support.
2. Support transaxle with jackstand.
3. Bolts attaching brackets to transaxle.
4. Nuts attaching brackets to mounts.
5. Brackets.
6. Bolts/nuts attaching mount supports to frame.
7. Mount supports.
8. Nuts attaching mounts to supports.


Install or Connect
1. Mounts and attaching nuts to supports.

Tighten Nuts to 53 Nm (39 lb. ft.).

2. Supports and attaching bolts/nuts to frame.
3. Brackets and attaching nuts to mounts.
4. Brackets to transaxie bolts.
Tighten all fasteners to specifications.
5. Remove jackstand.
6. Lower vehicle.
