CHECK THAT PROM IS CORRECTLY INSERTED IN THE SOCKET. IF OK, REPLACE PROM, CLEAR MEMORY AND RECHECK. IF Diagnostic Trouble Code P1623 REAPPEARS, REPLACE Powertrain Control Module (PCM).

NOTICE: To prevent possible Electrostatic Discharge damage to the PCM or PROM, Do Not touch the component leads. Do Not remove integrated circuit from carrier.
