Hydraulic Modulator Valve

The Hydraulic Modulator located on the front lefthand side of the engine compartment, provides rake fluid modulation for each individual wheel circuit as the required during anti-lock braking. During anti-lock braking, the modulator can maintain or reduce brake fluid pressure independent of the pressure generated in the master cylinder.
