Removal

Front Cover:

Oil Filter Adapter And Oil Pressure Valve:

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Crankshaft balancer. Service and Repair
3. Sensor shield.
4. Electrical connections.
5. Oil pan to front cover bolts.
6. Oil filter.
7. Oil cooler pipes from oil filter adapter housing.
- Catch oil in pan.
8. Lower vehicle.
9. Drain the cooling system.
10. Generator and brace.
11. Heater hoses and pipe from cover.
12. Bypass hose from cover.
13. Lower radiator hose.
14. Coolant pump pulley.
15. Front cover attaching bolts and cover with oil filter adapter as one assembly.
