Tube & Nut Assembly (High Pressure Side)

1. Depressurize the Powermaster III, refer to DEPRESSURIZING POWERMASTER III.
2. Remove air cleaner, duct and stud.
3. Remove tube and nut assembly (35), from Powermaster III unit (10). Plug all openings to prevent fluid loss and contamination, Fig. 75.
4. Inspect tube and nut assembly for crack, deformation and scratches or nicks on sealing surfaces. Replace tube and nut assembly if any of the above conditions are found.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque tube and nut assembly to Powermaster III unit to 10-15 ft. lbs.
b. Bleed Powermaster III unit, refer to DEPRESSURIZING POWERMASTER III.
