Chart 2 Compressor Always Engaged

CHART 2 COMPRESSOR ALWAYS ENGAGED









Circuit Description: The compressor clutch coil is fed voltage from the 10 amp A/C fuse through a relay which is grounded by the PCM

Test Description: Number(s) below refer to circled number(s) on the diagnostic chart.

1. Checks to see if fault is due to mechanical binding of clutch, grounded control signal or faulty PCM.
2. Checks to see if fault is due to mechanical bind or shorted control grounded signal circuit or faulty A/C compressor clutch relay.
