SUBJECT:
INTERMITTENT CODE B110 AND/OR ERRATIC TEMPERATURE READINGS OR ELECTRONIC CLIMATE CONTROL TEMPERATURE TOO HOT/COLD (REPLACE MALE TERMINALS)
MODELS AFFECTED:
1991 RIVIERA MODELS
Some 1991 Rivieras built before VIN breakpoint 402341 may experience one or more of the following conditions:
^ Intermittent code B110
^ Erratic outside temperature sensor readings
^ Electronic climate control temperature too warm or too cold at times
These conditions may be caused by a bad connection at the Outside Air Temperature (OAT) under hood sensor. Some vehicles were built with male terminals on both sides of the OAT sensor (male terminals on the sensor and male terminals on the harness). To repair this condition, replace the two male terminals on the harness with female terminals, P/N 12010182 (included in the terminal repair kit J-38125).
