Intake Manifolds And Gaskets:

Intake Manifold Bolt Tightening Sequence:

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Intake manifold gaskets and seals.
- Apply sealer GM P/N 12345336 (or equivalent) to ends of intake manifold seals.
2. Intake manifold assembly.
- Apply thread lock compound GM P/N 145493 (or equivalent) to bolt threads before assembly.
- Tighten bolts to 10 Nm (89 lbs. in.) aluminum or 15Nm (11 lbs. ft.) composite, twice in given sequence.
3. Bypass hose.
4. Heater pipes.
5. Generator bracket
6. Loosen generator and move to obtain clearance.
7. Power steering pump support bracket.
- Tighten bolt to 50 Nm (37 lbs. ft.).

Throttle Cable Bracket To Throttle Body:

8. Cable bracket to cylinder head mounting bolt.
9. Exhaust crossover heat shield.
10. Fuel rail.

Spark Plug Wiring Harness (Rear):

Spark Plug Wiring Harness (Front):

11. Spark plug wires on right side of engine.
12. Fuel injector sight shield and air intake duct.
