SUBJECT: REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (AUO) FOB PERFORMANCE

MODELS AFFECTED: 1991 PARK AVENUE/ULTRA


CONDITION:

Owners of Park Avenue/Ultra vehicles built prior to 9/17/90 may comment about three possible conditions relating to the performance of the Key FOB (transmitter) for the Remote Keyless Entry System.

1. The case prematurely breaks at the attachment ring.
2. The transmitter may operate intermittently.
3. The useful range of operation is too short.

CORRECTION:

A new transmitter has been released for service. Order part number 25602668. Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
