Remote Proportioner Valve, ABS

The proportioner valve proportions brake pressure to the rear brakes. Proportioning occurs only after a preset input pressure has been reached. Beyond this preset pressure, the valve limits output pressure to the rear brakes at a set percentage of the total system output. The separate parts of the remote proportioner valve cannot be serviced. The valve must be replaced if it is malfunctioning.
