MODELS AFFECTED:
1989 CENTURYS WITH 2.5L (VIN CODE R) ENGINE 1989 SKYLARKS WITH 2.5L (VIN CODE U) ENGINE


This bulletin serves to revise the torque specifications for the 2.5L (VIN R & U) fuel line nuts and TBI inlet/outlet nuts listed in Section "6E2-C2", "Driveability and Emissions" in the 1989 Century and Skylark Service Manuals.

The new specifications are listed below:

^ TBI Fuel Inlet/Outlet Nuts - 41.0 N-m (30 lb.ft.)
^ Fuel Feed and Return Line Nuts at TBI Unit - 27.0 N-m (20 lb.ft.)
