Valve Block
VALVE BLOCK ASSEMBLYREMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Depressurize hydraulic accumulator by applying and releasing the service brake pedal a minimum of 20 times using approximately 222 N (50 lbs.) force on the pedal. A noticeable change in pedal feel will occur when the accumulator is completely discharged.
3. Hydraulic unit.
4. Drain brake fluid.
Valve Block Removal:
5. Three nuts and washers as marked by an * in figure.
6. Valve block assembly and O-rings by sliding valve block off of studs.
INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Lubricate 0-rings with brake fluid.
2. Valve block and 0-rings onto master cylinder body.
Valve Block Removal:
3. Three washers and nuts as marked by an * in figure.
4. Hydraulic unit.
5. Refill with brake fluid.
6. Negative battery cable.
7. Bleed hydraulic system.
