Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve: Service and Repair

The Positive Crankcase Ventilation ([1][2]PCV) Valve should be checked every 15,000 miles and also during regular engine tune-ups. When a periodic inspection indicates the PCV is not functioning properly, it should be serviced by replacement only.
