Hydraulic Accumulator Replacement

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Depressurize the hydraulic accumulator, refer to Accumulator Discharge Procedure.

WARNING: The hydraulic accumulator contains brake fluid and nitrogen gas at extremely high pressures. The hydraulic accumulator must be depressurized to prevent personal injury and/or damage to painted surfaces.

2. Hydraulic accumulator.
3. O-ring seal from the hydraulic accumulator.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Lubricate new O-ring seal with clean brake fluid and install on accumulator.
2. Accumulator and tighten to 23 Nm (17 ft lbs).
3. Battery cable if previously removed.
4. Turn ignition "ON". "BRAKE" light should go out within 60 seconds.
5. Inspect for fluid leaks.
