SUBJECT: POWER STEERING PRESSURE HOSE ASSEMBLY LEAKAGE


MODELS AFFECTED: 1987 CENTURYS WITH LR8 2.5L L4 ENGINES (VIN R)


Some 1987 Centurys with 2.5L L-4 engines (VIN Code R) may experience a slight leakage from the power steering pressure hose connector assembly at the connection of the hose to the power steering pump.

If this condition is experienced, replace the complete power steering pressure hose with Part Number 26012610, following the proper service procedure as currently published in the Chassis Service Manual.

Relocation of the air conditioning switch assembly and associated wiring will be required. Refer to Figures 1 and 2.
