SUBJECT: REVISED PISTON FIT INFORMATION
MODELS AFFECTED: 1982-84 SKYHAWK WITH 1.8L OHC ENGINES (VIN CODE O AND J)
Only one standard size service piston is available for the 1.8L OHC engine. As a result, in some cases it may be necessary to lightly hone the cylinder bore to obtain the correct clearance.
Clearance specifications are .00 to .02 mm (.0000 to .0008 in.).
