Removal

1. Drain radiator.

2. Remove air cleaner.

3. Disconnect upper radiator hose.

4. Disconnect thermostat by-pass at water pump hose.

5. Disconnect heater hose at rear of manifold.

6. Disconnect fuel and vacuum hoses.

7. Disconnect hose at A.I.R.

8. Remove throttle and T.V. cables.

9. Remove accessory drive belts.

10. Remove generator and bracket.

11. With AC, remove compressor and bracket. Do not break A/C hose connections.

12. Disconnect temperature sensor wire..

13. Disconnect CCC solenoid assembly and Idle Load Compensator and bracket assembly.

14. Remove intake manifold bolts.

15. Clean intake manifold and cylinder block mating surfaces. Replace all gaskets.
